For the past three days, Peter and Hannah have been re-roofing that roof right there...and installed the long awaited skylights that have been stored in the basement for years. Yes, years!I was on the ground in charge of clean-up (more to do today, as seen above) and Madeline and Isaac were conveniently away during all the 'work.'
The skylights are in Peter's and my bedroom which has been windowless for most of the 20 years we've lived here. It feels like a whole new world in there now, complete with more dusty corners than I suspected.

are you having trouble sleeping with the extra light in your bedroom?
What a difference the skylights will make. It's like getting glasses after years of blurred vision. Have a great nap and good dreams.
